  • 1/2 cup organic short brown rice (soaked for 12-24 hours, with kombu seaweed)
  • 2 cups pure water
  • a pinch of sea salt

  • some organic raisins (soaked for 12 hours)
  • some organic sunflower seeds
  • some organic pumpkin seeds
  • some organic sesame seeds
  • a few tbsp of organic rice syrup
  • a pinch of sea salt
  • a pinch of organic cinnamon

  1. In a pan, cook the rice in the water, in low heat, till it gets creamy (it may take 2-3 hours – if you want, you may use the pressure pan instead, for a faster preparation).

  2. Once it gets thicker, stir it slowly with a wooden spoon and add a pinch of salt. Keep stirring, till you feel it’s done (you can see by the consistent and, yet, moisty texture).

  3. Roast the seeds in a frying pan (separated), with a tinny bit of salt, for a couple of minutes (only till they get golden).

  4. Serve the raisins as they are or smash them with a fork. You may add a tinny pinch of salt, if you wish.

  5. It’s time to serve!!! In a bowl, put a few tbsp of porridge, some raisins, some seeds, 1-2 tbsp of rice syrup and cinnamon to taste.
