Cacao Cream Cake | Sugar/Wheat Free

  • 200 g whole spelt flour, better if made from scratch
  • 40 g cacao powder
  • 224 ml pure water
  • 1 tbsp yeast powder
  • 100 ml grapefruit oil
  • 10 tbsp brown rice syrup
  • 1 pinch sea salt


  • 150 ml pure water
  • 1 tbsp almonds, soaked for 4-6 hours
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp arrowroot flour
  • 1 tbsp brown rice syrup


  • some berries
  • some mint leaves
  • some cacao powder


  1. Blend or simply mix all the liquid ingredients of the dough.

  2. Add the solid ingredients of the dough and mix.

  3. Put the mixture in a cake mold and bake it at 356ºF/180ºC, for 30 minutes.

  4. Blend all the ingredients of the cream and cook it in a pan, until it gets thick.

  5. Once the cake is done and cooled, cover it with the cream.

  6. Add some berries, mint leaves and cacao powder, or other fruits and herbs that you like.
