Refined Sugar/Wheat Free
Mix all the ingredients of the dough, adding the water slowly till you get a smooth texture, and knead it well. Let it rest.
Peel and cut the apples in small pieces, mix it with the other ingredients of the filling and slightly grind everything.
Place it in a drain and let the liquid run through. Set the liquid aside.
Spread the dough in your kitchen counter, until you get a firm and yet thickness texture. Cut it with a ring mold.
Put a dollop of the filling in the middle and fold up the extremities of the dough, pressing it in between your fingers. Do this until you have no more dough/filling left, putting all the pies directly on a tray covered with parchment paper.
Bake the hand pies at 180ºC/356ºF, for 15 minutes.
Mix the ingredients of the topping, remove the pies from the oven and pinch them with it.
Take them back to the oven for 15 minutes more.
